Financial Controls and Governance Leader

The Financial Controls and Governance Leader will play a key role in the success of our organization by leading the controls uplift agenda within Central Finance. This role is responsible for establishing effective finance risk governance forums, monitoring key risk indicators, supporting control owners with implementing policies and standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading process and control deep-dive reviews.

Job Requirements
  • Chartered accountant background with 7+ years experience in a financial institution
  • Thorough understanding of activities within a finance function in a financial institution (financial reporting and regulatory reporting)
  • Experience and/or exposure of risk and control advisory and governance roles
  • Strong communication skills with solid stakeholder management and influencing skills, especially with senior stakeholders
