We are Spotzer Digital, a leading international marketing and technology agency based in Melbourne. Our team creates websites, blogs, and other SEO content for small to medium-sized businesses across Australia.

We are seeking multiple freelance content writers who can start immediately and work remotely. As a content writer for our team, you will help us deliver insightful and creative copy to our business clients. This opportunity is ideal for full-time freelancers and part-time freelancers looking for a side hustle.

Job Responsibilities:

As a content writer for our team, your main responsibilities will be to write website copy for small businesses across various industries. You will mostly be writing directly onto the CMS, therefore some technical knowledge may be required. Basic training will be provided in the form of instructional documents and email support, where needed.

This is What We Are Looking For:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience writing as a freelancer or working for an advertising or marketing agency or currently undertaking an English writing degree (Professional Writing and Editing, Creative Writing, or similar)
  • A strong understanding of SEO and SEM concepts
  • A native English speaker or exceptionally proficient ESL
  • Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
  • Happiness working remotely and communicating with our content manager via email
  • An Australian Business Number (ABN) or willingness to obtain one*
  • An Australian Bank Account
  • The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle different writing demands
  • A commitment to delivering at least 15 pages (~5 websites) per week

What You Will Get:

We offer competitive payment rates ranging from $6 to $15 AUD per 300 words, depending on the quality of your work. If your writing stands out and makes a good impression, you may be eligible for higher rates and more varied work opportunities.
