About the Role

The Queensland Fire Department is seeking a highly skilled Correspondence Coordinator to join their Relations and Standards team. As a key member of the team, you will provide administrative support in the management of correspondence and complaints systems, ensuring compliance with departmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the administrative functions, including management of correspondence and complaints systems and records.
  • Assist in the administration of incoming complaints in the Complaints Management System and their referral to the relevant areas of QFD for action.
  • Provide high-level administrative support and prepare complex reports, in relation to conduct and performance matters.
  • Prioritise, register and action incoming correspondence to effectively manage critical information, confidentiality, and workflows.
  • Coordinate and research correspondence, reports and presentations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to meet departmental deadlines.
  • Communicate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders on a wide range of issues to support key processes and service delivery outcomes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also have experience in the provision and preparation of written correspondence in a confidential environment, as well as experience in the preparation of data reporting.
