">The Program Coordinator will oversee and manage program activities for the Yawal Mugadjina Cultural Mentoring Program. This is an ongoing, full-time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team.
">About the Role

- Manage the delivery of the Yawal Mugadjina Cultural Mentoring Program across the Victorian prison system.">
- Liaise with Elders and Respected Persons and prison locations to schedule Yawal Mugadjina prison visits each month.">
- Coordinate quarterly training activities for Elders and Respected Persons.">
About You
">- ">
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Victorian Aboriginal Community, both society and culture and the issues impacting on it.">
- Demonstrated ability to communicate competently and sensitively with members of the Victorian Aboriginal community.">
- Ability to define tasks to be delivered in an effort to meet agreed outcomes while coordinating and guiding others in the execution of work activities.">
Requirements
">- ">
- No relevant tertiary qualification is required - experience in dealing with the complex needs of Aboriginal people and community in complex environments and other relevant experience is highly desired.">
