Job Description

The Aboriginal Learning Facilitator role is an exciting opportunity to work in a close-knit team delivering culturally sensitive programs primarily to school groups. This part-time position involves working between 15.2 hours per week, ideally from Monday to Wednesday.

Based on the land of the Bunurong people at Cranbourne Gardens, this role requires developing and facilitating cultural and non-cultural learning programs for school groups, focusing on high-quality learning outcomes.

  • Develop and deliver culturally sensitive programs for school groups
  • Contribute to the development and review of First Peoples-focused programs
  • Promote cultural safety throughout learning programs

This role also involves contributing to community and educational initiatives, partnerships, and outreach within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. The Learning and Participation team is known for its supportive and collaborative environment, where great consideration has been given to employee onboarding, mentoring, and development.
