Townsville Building and Pest Inspection Position

Rapid Building Inspections is expanding into Townsville, as a leading provider of building and pest inspection services. We are seeking a qualified Building & Pest Inspector to join our team in this new region.
This role offers a flexible and autonomous work arrangement, allowing you to work on a job-by-job basis. You will be paid per inspection, with rates ranging from $120 to $250 depending on the assignment. The workload will build over time as we establish ourselves in Townsville.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough building inspections to identify defects, safety hazards, and pest-related risks.
- Inspecting subfloors, roof spaces, external roofs, and property structures to ensure they meet building codes and standards.
- Delivering comprehensive and accurate reports that provide clear recommendations for rectification.
- A current QLD Builder's Licence.
- Completion of the Registered Building Inspectors Course.
- A valid police check, driver's licence, reliable vehicle, and Australian Business Number (ABN).
