Our client operate a strong brand in the building and pest pre purchase inspection space.
They are going through an exciting growth phase.
This national brand has been operating successfully for 10+ years enjoying year on year growth presenting multiple internal opportunities and growth.
THE ROLE
Due to recent growth our client are looking to take on a contractor to assist with inspections.
We're looking for qualified Building & Pest Inspectors to join our team across Townsville.
This role would suit an experienced building and/or pest inspector or a licenced builder/site supervisor looking for a change.
90% of work will be in pre purchase inspections.
As an Inspector with our client, you'll play a key role in safeguarding the structural integrity and safety of properties.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Identifying structural defects, safety risks, and compliance issues
Producing detailed inspection reports with clear, actionable recommendations
This role is vital in supporting safe property transactions, ongoing maintenance, and renovation projects by ensuring buildings meet relevant safety and compliance standards.
ABOUT YOU
Demonstrated expertise in conducting building and/or pest inspections
Must hold or be eligible for a QLD Builder's Licence or Registered Building Inspectors Course, with knowledge of local compliance standards (if you dont have the pest certification, our client can put you through this)
Certified in Timber Pest Management (CPPUPM3008 & CPPUPM3010)
Excellent attention to detail with strong report writing capabilities
Physically capable of inspecting subfloors, roof cavities, and external roofing areas
Holds a current police clearance (or willing to get one), valid driver's licence, and has access to a dependable vehicle
