Building & Pest Inspector | Contractor Opportunity | Townsville

Rapid Building Inspections (RBI) is expanding into Townsville As one of Australia's leaders in building and pest inspection services – and a proud subsidiary of Home Trades Hub Australia (HTHA), owned by RACV – we deliver trusted inspection services to home buyers, sellers, and property owners nationwide.

We're looking for a qualified Building & Pest Inspector (ABN holder) to join us as a subcontractor as we grow in this new region.

About the Role

Subcontractor arrangement – be paid per job ($120–$250 depending on the inspection).

Monday to Friday only – no weekend work.

Workload will build over time as we establish in Townsville, so flexibility is essential.

Provide high-quality inspections and reports that give our customers confidence and peace of mind.

What You'll Do

Identify building defects, safety hazards, and pest-related risks.

Inspect subfloors, roof spaces, external roofs, and property structures.

Deliver comprehensive and accurate reports with clear recommendations.

Play a key role in ensuring property safety and compliance during real estate transactions, renovations, and maintenance.

What We're Looking For

Must have current QLD Builder's Licence

Completion of the Registered Building Inspectors Course

Valid police check, driver's licence, reliable vehicle, and ABN
