We are seeking a skilled Building and Pest Inspector to join our team in Townsville, Northern Queensland.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable company that specializes in building and pest inspections. As a Building and Pest Inspector, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the structural integrity and safety of properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough building and pest inspections to identify defects, safety risks, and compliance issues.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports with clear, actionable recommendations.

You will be responsible for ensuring buildings meet relevant safety and compliance standards, supporting safe property transactions, ongoing maintenance, and renovation projects.

Requirements
  • Must hold or be eligible for a QLD Builder's Licence or Registered Building Inspectors Course, with knowledge of local compliance standards.
  • Certified in Timber Pest Management (CPPUPM3008 & CPPUPM3010).
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong report writing capabilities.
  • Physically capable of inspecting subfloors, roof cavities, and external roofing areas.
  • Holds a current police clearance and has access to a dependable vehicle.
