About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecommunications Engineer to join our team at The Alfred Health Digital Health Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our telecommunications environment, which includes internet, data, video, and voice networks over IP and non-IP based technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and support the telecommunications environment, including troubleshooting and management
  • Assist the Telecommunications Architect with the implementation of new Telecommunications technologies
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including diagrams using Microsoft VISIO
  • Provide quality system support and customer service to our team and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of telecommunications systems
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in telecommunications engineering
  • Recognised industry certifications or relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a complex telecommunications environment
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong technical documentation skills, including Microsoft VISIO
  • VoIP experience, including Cisco Call Manager, Unity Connection, Informacast, and FAX
