Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Structural Engineer to lead our structural engineering team's efforts in telecommunication infrastructure designs and other projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and implementation of structural solutions for telecommunication and other related structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the structural design team and analysis of telecommunication towers, monopoles, and related structures.
- Perform detailed structural analysis using industry-standard software and tools.
- Develop and review engineering calculations, structural drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate structural conditions and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce site-specific design solutions.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and reporting tools.
- Mentor and train junior structural engineers and sign-off on their designs.
- Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in structural engineering and telecom industry trends.
Requirements
- CPEng and RPEQ Accreditation with experience in Telecommunication and rooftop Infrastructures.
- The ability to communicate clearly and review design options with team members, designers, and construction personnel.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes and Australian standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with project management and leadership roles.
