Production Planning Specialist

The role of Production Planner is responsible for leading the production planning team and working with key stakeholders to manage the overall production plan, issue the production schedule, track and report production performance, and ensure work is correctly closed out.

This position will be part of a full-time permanent team in our Component Solutions division. The successful candidate will have experience working with planning teams, customers, and other key stakeholders to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the production planning process from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, purchasing, and warehouse, to optimize production schedules and meet business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement in the production planning process.

Requirements

  • Trade certificate or higher education in a related field, such as engineering or business administration.
  • Proven experience working in a production planning or similar role, preferably in a heavy industry environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
