Clinical Psychologist Position Overview

Our organization is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our private practice in the Bulleen area, where they will work with a diverse range of clients across the lifespan.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike. They will be responsible for providing ongoing therapy to clients across different age groups and presentations, including trauma, relationship breakdown, grief, family dysfunction, stress, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-quality therapeutic services to clients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Working independently and as part of a team to manage a tailored caseload and choose working days to fit individual needs.
  • Maintaining accurate case notes, managing client files, and adhering to legal and ethical standards in clinical practice.
  • Taking on clients from various sources, including TAC, WorkCover, Medicare, Victims of Crime, and private referrals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in evidence-based therapies, including CBT, ACT, and positive psychology interventions.
  • Holding a tertiary Psychology qualification and being AHPRA Registered.
  • Having a valid Working with Children and Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Unrestricted Australian Working Rights.
