About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research and Development Scientist to join our team at PepsiCo ANZ. As a key member of our innovation team, you will be responsible for driving brand innovation and leading the development of new products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive Brand Innovation: Develop and implement strategies to enhance market performance and achieve business objectives through the creation of new products and product lines.
  2. Monitor Performance: Analyze consumer data and feedback to identify opportunities for competitive advantage and inform product development decisions.
  3. Oversee Product Development: Manage the development process from concept to launch, ensuring consumer validation and effective project management.
  4. Improve Products and Processes: Enhance existing products and processes through continuous improvement and adoption of global best practices.
  5. Provide Technical Solutions: Offer technical expertise to resolve issues, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and optimize costs.
  6. Manage Systems and Budget: Administer product formulation systems, maintain quality standards, ensure compliance with regulations, and oversee the R&D budget.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in a product/process development environment.
  2. Relevant Degree in Food Science or related field.
  3. Strong Computer proficiency.
  4. Strong Technical and Analytical skills.
  5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  6. Proven ability in effective internal and external engagement.
  7. Demonstrated strong negotiation and influencing skills.
