Opportunity DetailsThis position is available within our dedicated team specializing in Oceanography and Coastal Processes. As a Research Scientist, you will engage in critical research addressing cumulative stressors impacting tropical marine habitats, with a focus on shelf-scale processes and ecosystem drivers. You will collaborate with a diverse group of experts, including oceanographers, biogeochemists, and marine ecologists, to implement observational and modeling techniques that investigate hydrodynamic, sediment, and biogeochemical processes.
Your role will involve leading significant projects, including the oversight of observational programs and the development of numerical modeling tools tailored to tropical coastal and continental shelf systems. You will also provide scientific guidance to colleagues and students, ensuring the effective allocation of resources to meet scientific and environmental challenges.
