
Senior Employee Support Specialist

The role of HR Advisor is to provide expert support to employees in a rapidly expanding technology business.
This position involves collaborating closely with the Head of People & Culture to ensure effective employee management throughout all stages of the employment lifecycle.
- Employee resourcing and recruitment, including advertising roles, sourcing, screening, reference checking, and creation of employment contracts.
- New hire onboarding, including new hire forms, HRIS entry, developing and coordinating the onboard plan, arrangements for hardware and desk, along with welcome messages.
- Day-to-day HR administration, including policy updates, leave management, adjustment letters, ensuring compliance with HR legislation, employee rewards, running social committees, updating organisational charts, position descriptions, tracking staff milestones, OH&S requirements.
- KPI review and annual performance review administration, ensuring clear KPIs are communicated and documented quarterly.
- Scheduling annual performance reviews with line managers by June each year.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in HR, covering recruitment, onboarding, and general HR administration.
- Experience working in the technology industry, preferably with a technology distributor or in tech recruitment.
- Familiarity with Australian HR legislation and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to interact with directors and senior leaders.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective time management and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
