We are seeking an experienced employee relations specialist or employment lawyer to join our team in a leadership role.
As an employee relations specialist, you will provide advice, coaching, and support on a full range of people management issues, including misconduct investigations, performance management, formal and informal disciplinary procedures, grievance handling, fitness for work, and internal appeals. You will also be responsible for managing highly sensitive and complex cases.
This role requires excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in employee relations and/or case management, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide advice, coaching, and support on people management issues
- Manage highly sensitive and complex cases
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Make recommendations to senior leaders on employee relations matters
- Tertiary qualification in Employment Law/Human Resources/related field
- Proven experience in advising on individual people matters
- Strong case management experience
