About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Employee Relations Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ER professional who can balance rigour with pragmatism and has a strong understanding of employment law and awards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of complex ER cases and workplace investigations.
- Prepare clear documentation including investigation reports and case summaries.
- Provide pragmatic advice to leaders on ER matters, awards, and legislation.
- Couch managers to build capability and confidence in handling workplace issues.
- Contribute to policy development and the refinement of ER frameworks.
- Partner with HR colleagues to support engagement, culture, and WHS initiatives.
Requirements
- You're an experienced ER professional with 5+ years' experience in employee/industrial relations, including complex case management.
- Extensive workplace investigation experience with clear, thorough reporting.
- Strong understanding of the Fair Work Act, modern awards, and employment legislation.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail and consistency.
