About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Village Manager to lead our retirement living communities, creating safe, secure and connected independent living environments where residents can thrive. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring the day-to-day operations run smoothly, and planning engaging activities that cater to residents' needs and interests.

  • Foster a positive environment where residents feel supported and valued.
  • Oversee maintenance, coordinate with service providers, and ensure efficient operations.
  • Listen to concerns, solve problems, and ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Plan and deliver enjoyable activities that promote socialization and well-being.
  • Lead a high-performing team that shares your commitment to exceptional resident experiences.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
  • Strong financial management skills with budgeting and reporting expertise.
  • Proven experience in asset management, preferably within property, facilities, or retirement living.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach with a strong focus on resident wellbeing.
  • Operational management expertise with strong organisational, consultative, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite and online applications).
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to handle challenges effectively.
  • Customer-centric with a strong focus on resident satisfaction.
  • A people person with a genuine passion for working with seniors.

The ideal candidate will also have or be willing to complete First Aid, CPR Certificates, and a driver's license with own transport.
