
Retirement Village Manager

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
- We are seeking a talented, motivational leader who is passionate about working with seniors and providing excellent operational management of the village across all areas including the development of in-home services. Using their communication and organizational skills, the RV Manager will work towards building an open and transparent relationship with residents and staff by providing leadership and sound business skills in the management of the village to ensure that the villages operate efficiently and to the highest of standards in order to meet the day to day needs of the residents.
- Full-time position (38 hours per week)
- Located at Coral Sea Gardens Village in Cairns
- Be an active leader of a team where communication is valued and continuous improvement is promoted in accordance with accreditation and aged care standards.
- Lead a culture that promotes positivity and safety while delivering our Model of Care that focuses on the individual emotional and physical needs of the resident.
- You will liaise with all stakeholders to deliver best practice operational and clinical services, including allied health, hospitality, lifestyle and community activities.
**ABOUT YOU**:
- Prior management experience in the retirement village sector essential
- A passion to establish and develop an in-home services program within the village
- Able to build rapport, negotiate and maintain effective relations with residents and all stakeholders and balance multiple demands
- Able to provide solutions to complex issues using critical thinking
- Demonstrated ability to manage refurbishment programs and achieve positive sales outcomes
- Business acumen and retirement village knowledge relating to budgets, occupancy, compliance and accreditation standards.
- Demonstrated understanding of a human rights approach to person-centred services and an ability to work in a team environment.
