Rehabilitation Counsellor Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a unique opportunity in vocational rehabilitation.

This role involves providing coaching, mentoring and guidance to new consultants, as well as quality assurance and strategic review. The successful candidate will have +3 years of experience in an occupational rehabilitation position and full professional membership with ASORC.

  • Coaching and mentoring new consultants to achieve independence in various assessments
  • Provision of post-assessment supervision with peers to encourage critical thinking and solutions focus
  • Quality assurance and guidance toward exceptional services and reporting
  • Strategic review and providing specialist direction / advice to progress challenging and complex cases

The ideal candidate will be passionate, energetic and innovative with strong communication abilities. They should demonstrate evidence of outcome focus, solutions oriented approaches to cases, thinking outside the box and flexible, adaptive and tailored approaches to rehabilitation.
