Griffith University's School of Medicine and Dentistry is seeking a highly skilled academic leader to join our team as a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage curriculum and course requirements within the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program.
- Contribute to the teaching effort of the School of Medicine and Dentistry, with a focus on clinical education.
- Play a major leadership role in teaching, assessment, and curriculum development activities relevant to the MD program.
- Oversee Phase 3 of the MD program, including coordinating teaching and learning, assessment, and placement activities.
- Work closely with the Dean of Medicine and MD Program Director, Phase 1 and 2 Leads, and clinicians to ensure a high-quality student learning experience.
Requirements:
- Expertise in leading and managing curriculum and course requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and assessing in a medical program.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians and other stakeholders.
About the Role:
This is a full-time, continuing position based at the Gold Coast campus. The successful candidate will be expected to work across sites, including the Sunshine Coast and Rural Clinical School, to ensure the delivery of a high-quality learning experience.
