Job Title: Strategic Human Resources AdvisorAbout the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Strategic Human Resources Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, review, and implementation of organisational capability strategies that enable us to demonstrate performance excellence and service delivery innovation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the success of transformation and cultural change by promoting and modelling established values.
  • In collaboration with the Manager, Human Resources, develop and implement key statewide strategic human resource and workforce capability projects and initiatives.
  • Analyse HR management issues and workforce data, identifying trends and key areas for improvement, and developing business solutions to drive better practices and build workforce capability.
  • Provide advisory services through partnering and coaching managers on informal and formal positive performance management, organisational change, complaints management, disputes, and conduct matters.
  • Build capability within the Human Resources team to partner with business leaders, coach managers, and build people capability.
  • Present reports, correspondence, and submissions on complex people management issues.
  • Maintain high levels of communication to effectively liaise, negotiate, consult, influence, and problem-solve with stakeholders.
  • Understand, interpret, and advise on legislation, employment frameworks, policies, and guidelines to support processes and procedures relevant to the employee life cycle.
Requirements

The ideal applicant will be someone with diverse experience in human resource generalist roles, particularly at a senior advisory level, and knowledge of industrial legislation, employment frameworks, policies, and directives.
