Job Overview

This role is designed to shape and execute the overall Human Resources strategy and objectives across Queensland, while providing expert guidance to specific business lines nationally.

Responsibilities
  • Manage challenging employee issues with best practices in place.
  • Develop relationships and influence at a senior level to understand business needs and demands.
  • Work proactively with Leaders in QLD to provide guidance on employee engagement, retention & culture.
  • Provide trusted advice and execute on employee relations matters.
  • Deliver advice on management, coaching and advisory;
  • Deal with State-based workplace health & safety matters.
Qualifications
  • Relevant Human Resources tertiary qualifications.
  • Demonstrated 2+ years of hands-on, generalist experience as a HR Advisor/Consultant.
  • Solid knowledge of workplace legislation and ER/HR best practice methods.
  • Proven partnering with senior stakeholders and executive people strategies.
  • Strong client-focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a collaborative member of a national team.
  • Highly organized to deliver daily outcomes in a fast-paced business environment.
