Payroll Project Director

Project Management:
- Initiate and oversee payroll system implementations, upgrades, and improvements.
- Develop project plans, define scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor progress and ensure projects are delivered on time and meeting deadlines and standards.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders on time.
Team Leadership:
- Review and provide feedback on work completed by project analysts.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities while providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and IT teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Process Improvement:
- Analyze current payroll processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices and drive efficiency in payroll operations.
- Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and audit requirements.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks to payroll projects and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct system tests to identify issues and ensure functionality before going live.
- Ensure that all payroll processes adhere to relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
Training and Development:
- Develop and deliver training sessions for team members on new payroll systems and procedures.
- Ensure ongoing development and knowledge-sharing within the team.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
