Payroll Project Director

Project Management:

  • Initiate and oversee payroll system implementations, upgrades, and improvements.
  • Develop project plans, define scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Monitor progress and ensure projects are delivered on time and meeting deadlines and standards.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders on time.

Team Leadership:

  • Review and provide feedback on work completed by project analysts.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities while providing guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and IT teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Process Improvement:

  • Analyze current payroll processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices and drive efficiency in payroll operations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and audit requirements.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks to payroll projects and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct system tests to identify issues and ensure functionality before going live.
  • Ensure that all payroll processes adhere to relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.

Training and Development:

  • Develop and deliver training sessions for team members on new payroll systems and procedures.
  • Ensure ongoing development and knowledge-sharing within the team.
