
Real Estate Valuer Trainee

This role involves undertaking and assisting with professional property valuations in accordance with legislation and policy. You will participate in a graduate program with rotations across various teams including Rating, Taxing, Compulsory Acquisitions, and Special Valuations.
- Gaining exposure to valuing properties throughout NSW and determining compensation for compulsory acquisitions
- Providing valuation support and advice to senior officials and stakeholders
We are seeking candidates who possess drive, motivation, and commitment to learning with self-reflection ability. Strong communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential. Additionally, you should be able to achieve quality outcomes efficiently and make decisions within delegation on valuation matters.
- Achieving transparent, objective, timely, and compliant results
- Knowledge of relevant laws and policies and their application
- Membership of the Australian Property Institute or eligibility for Associate Membership by end of 2025
- Current driver's license and willingness to travel
The graduate program provides a pathway to qualification as a Valuer and Associate membership with the Australian Property Institute. You will gain experience across diverse valuation functions and have opportunities for ongoing and temporary roles through a recruitment pool.
