Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Real Estate Appraiser to join our team.

About the Role
  • As a key member of our team, you will undertake and assist with professional property and valuation information consistent with legislation and policy.
  • You will participate in a 24-month graduate program with up to four six-month rotations across teams including Rating & Taxing, Objections, Compulsory Acquisitions, and Special Valuations.
  • Providing valuation support and advice to senior professionals and stakeholders is another essential aspect of this role.
  • You will gain exposure to valuing every parcel of land in NSW and determining compensation for compulsory acquisitions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will possess drive, motivation, and commitment to learning with self-reflection ability.
  • Strong communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills are also essential.
  • Able to achieve quality outcomes efficiently and make decisions within delegation on valuation matters.
  • Deliver on outcomes that are transparent, objective, on time and in accordance with relevant requirements.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies and their application.
  • Student or provisional membership of the Australian Property Institute.
  • Completion of or undertaking qualifications eligible for associate membership of the Australian Property Institute by end of 2025.
  • A current driver's licence.
  • Willingness to travel.
