Training and Development Specialist

We are a leading international construction and infrastructure company with a strong presence in Australia. With a history spanning over 70 years, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner for major projects across the country.
Our current project, the Eastern Freeway – Burke to Tram Alliance, is a significant undertaking that involves upgrading the Eastern Freeway with new express lanes, traffic management technology, and a dedicated busway. This project will not only improve public transport in Melbourne's east but also create new opportunities for the local community.
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Trainer/Facilitator to join our team on the Eastern Freeway Burke to Tram Alliance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, delivering, and reviewing our compliance training programs. Your primary focus will be on supporting the development and delivery of internal training programs, including project inductions, wellbeing and safety culture programs, management system and risk management training, and site-specific training requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver microlearning modules that effectively translate EBTA procedures into engaging and easily understood content.
- Organize and facilitate regular project inductions, ensuring alignment with project and legislative requirements.
- Facilitate internal training programs, including the Energy Project, Rethinking Safety Through Inclusion and Wellbeing, HSEMS Delivery Excellence, and Risk Management courses.
- Support the facilitation of training sessions in EBTA's immersive training room.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Training Advisor to ensure internal programs align with TNA compliance.
- Develop a quarterly training schedule.
- Assist in delivering emergency management and system process training.
- Contribute to the development of EBTA internal VOC instruments and conduct VOC assessments for direct hire workforce, utilizing an on-site SME.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in training and development, preferably with formal qualifications in Training and Assessment (TAE). Additional qualifications, such as Work at Heights and Confined Spaces and high-risk competencies, are desirable. If you have a proven track record in developing and delivering training material and can work autonomously, we encourage you to apply.
