
Spiritual Care Leader

As a key member of our spiritual care team, you will provide empathetic and supportive care to individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and faith traditions.
We are seeking someone with a strong commitment to personal growth in their Christian faith, as well as the ability to identify and respond to the spiritual needs of our clients.
This role involves conducting worship services, staff devotions, funerals, and other rites of passage, as well as supporting and encouraging our staff and volunteers. You will be required to document pastoral contacts, report activities, and attend team meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct worship services and other spiritual gatherings for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Provide individualized spiritual care to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Support staff and volunteers through regular communication, guidance, and encouragement.
- Document all pastoral interactions and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in chaplaincy or pastoral care, or equivalent experience.
- A high level of spiritual maturity with a strong pastoral focus.
- Active involvement in a local church community, with a recommendation from a senior pastor or leader.
- Previous experience in chaplaincy or pastoral care, with a proven track record of delivering effective spiritual support.
