Regulatory Compliance Specialist

This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the safe operation of our processing plant at Pilgangoora Operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating isolation requirements during planned shutdowns, creating permits to work certificates, and managing physical and online isolation assets.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and implementing procedures to ensure permit compliance throughout the permit process.
- Defining hazards and controls, obtaining sign-off from authorized personnel.
- Designing isolation plans to guarantee safety of plant equipment.
- Preparing work permits and managing isolation lists.
- Coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure safe equipment isolation.
- Promoting a culture of safety and following Life Saving Rules.
- Contributing to a zero Lost Time Injury (LTI) workplace.
- Managing activities to minimize fatigue and risks, including drug and alcohol testing.
- Optimizing costs and improving processing systems.
- Identifying and suggesting improvements to manuals, procedures, and plant operations.
To succeed in this role, you will need experience with fixed plant or equipment in mining, proficiency with software such as Projects, Excel, SharePoint/Teams, and Word, and a strong focus on teamwork, initiative, and safety.
