Heavy Equipment Operations Trainer

Our ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience in heavy equipment operations, along with a strong understanding of industry safety standards and regulatory compliance. They will be responsible for delivering practical training and assessments, developing compliant training resources, and contributing to a culture of safety and professional development across the site.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver face-to-face training and assessments, including Verification of Competency (VOC) for mobile equipment and fixed plant operations
- Coordinate and implement site-specific training programs to align with operational requirements and regulatory standards
- Develop, validate, and moderate Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS), learning resources, and assessment tools to ensure quality and compliance
- Regularly review and update assessments, documents, and procedures to reflect current best practices and operational changes
- Conduct internal audits and safety inspections related to training and competency assurance, contributing to continuous improvement in safety and performance
- Provide coaching and mentoring to operators and new employees, fostering a culture of safety, development, and competency across site operations
