Key Position Overview

This role is a 12-month fixed-term engagement for an experienced and passionate Trainer and Assessor to deliver high-quality, practical training and assessments across site operations.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide face-to-face training and assessment services including Verification of Competency (VOC) for both mobile equipment and fixed plant operations
  • Coordinate and implement site-specific training initiatives aligned with operational requirements and regulatory standards
  • Develop and validate Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS), learning resources, and assessment tools to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards
  • Regularly review and update assessments, documents, and procedures to reflect current best practices as well as operational changes
  • Conduct internal audits and safety inspections related to training and competency assurance contributing to continuous improvement in safety and performance
  • Offer coaching and mentoring to developing operators and new employees fostering a culture of safety development and competency across site operations
  • Collaborate with operational and safety teams to identify training needs and address skill gaps proactively
