Facilities Operations Specialist

As a Maintenance Operations Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the facilities are safe, secure, and comfortable for our guests. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead and coach a small engineering team.
The ideal candidate will have advanced vocational training plus two years of experience in general building maintenance or construction, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough facilities inspections to identify defects and coordinating timely repairs or installations
- Overseeing procurement of hotel equipment and machinery, aligning with operational needs
- Ensuring strict compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Recruiting and onboarding maintenance staff, developing effective budgets and forecasts
- Liaising with contractors and vendors to develop mutually beneficial maintenance agreements
