Cancer Care Nursing Opportunity

Are you a dedicated and passionate nurse looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of cancer patients?

This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be working closely with Oncologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based nursing services to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive oncology nursing care that meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Practice according to NSW Health Legislation and ACQSHC National Standards.
  • Offer holistic nursing care, conduct thorough patient assessments, and refer for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to quality improvements and collaborate with the Quality and Clinical Governance team to ensure best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with Oncologists and the multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • 12 months of oncology experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy for patients and their caregivers.
  • Strong clinical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective care planning and coordination skills.
  • Dedication to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
