Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Perth Airport. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the airport by developing and maintaining business intelligence (BI) and data products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into BI solutions
  • Analyse data to identify trends and deliver actionable insights that support business strategies
  • Design, build and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and data products to deliver timely, accurate information
  • Partner with Data Engineers, Platform Engineers and Governance teams to ensure models and insights are scalable, reliable, and consistent
  • Provide training, mentoring, and support to users to grow BI and analytics capability across the airport
  • Proactively improve BI processes and adopt modern technologies to enhance ways of working

Requirements:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience designing, building and managing BI and data products
  • Proficiency in BI tools and techniques such as Power BI, SQL, Python, R, and strong knowledge of data modelling
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimise workloads
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and translate technical insights for non-technical audiences
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
