Job Title: Digital Insights Leader

Description:

This role requires a strategic and hands-on digital insights leader to join our team. The successful candidate will embed data-driven decision making as a core capability in digital product delivery, drive deep insights that shape our digital experience, and lead a high-performing team.

About the Role

  • Drive insights that shape digital experience, optimise conversion, and support business goals.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing digital analytics team and provide guidance to data analysts working within the Digital Experience domain.
  • Embed data science as a core capability in digital product delivery, influencing roadmaps, prioritisation, and optimisation.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, UX, marketing, and technology teams to align analytics with shared outcomes.
  • Ensure data quality and governance, overseeing tracking, tagging, and measurement standards across digital platforms.
  • Translate data into action, using storytelling and visualisation to present insights and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Shape strategic direction, managing the analytics roadmap and representing business needs in platform planning.
Requirements:
  • A natural leader who inspires and empowers others, builds strong relationships, and thrives in collaborative environments with the ability to embed data-driven decision making in processes.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in fields such as Mathematics, Data Science, Economics or similar, or equivalent hands-on experience in digital analytics.
  • Technical proficiency across Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Looker Studio).
  • Significant experience in digital or data analytics within large, complex, or multi-brand environments, with a strong grasp of web and app behaviour analysis.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Excel, with familiarity in Python or R.
  • A solid understanding of segmentation, funnel analysis, and A/B testing.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, with strong data storytelling and visualisation skills tailored to diverse stakeholders.
