About the Role

The incumbent will provide expert advice and coaching on effective people management, encompassing employee relations, performance management, workplace culture, policy interpretation, and application.

This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity for a highly experienced and professional HR specialist to support a Residential Aged Care portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workplace culture
  • Conduct thorough investigations and develop recommendations for resolution
  • Counsel leaders on strategies and processes for effective people management
  • Participate in project teams and contribute to HR initiatives
  • Analyse and report on people metrics, identifying trends and areas for action
  • Collaborate with leaders to navigate organisational change projects

Some travel to regional locations may be required.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
  • Significant experience in an HRBP position, preferably in Aged Care or Health Care
  • Demonstrated experience working with unions on people matters
  • Extensive knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
  • Advanced coaching, influencing, and communication skills
