Facilities Maintenance Refrigeration Technician

We are hiring a skilled facilities maintenance refrigeration technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of refrigeration systems, excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills, and a self-starter attitude.

This is not an entry-level position; candidates must have at least 3+ years of experience in refrigeration diagnosis and repair, technical education in refrigeration trade school or certification, and 608 certifications in refrigeration recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and maintenance in a friendly, professional manner
  • Ensure high customer service and store appearance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds safely
  • Ability to stand, lift, and bend for up to 10 hours in cold and wet environments
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings
  • Experience reading blueprints, layouts, and schematics
  • Proficiency with measuring and testing equipment
Benefits:
  • Starting pay: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour
  • Additional earning opportunities include overtime pay over 40 hours, annual bonus based on store profits, and overtime pay for holiday work
