We are hiring a facilities maintenance refrigeration technician. If you're tired of doing the same thing every day, join us where every day is different. Company vehicle provided. You will work with other facility maintenance personnel to travel to each location as dispatched to repair or maintain facilities.

Starting Pay: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour

Additional earning opportunities include: $.50 per hour from midnight to 6 a.m. (see company policy), performance reviews in as little as 90 days with annual reviews thereafter, health insurance within 90 days, vacation pay, overtime pay over 40 hours, annual bonus based on store profits, and overtime pay for holiday work.

The essential duties of this maintenance technician include performing repairs and maintenance in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring high customer service and store appearance. This is NOT an entry-level position; candidates must have comprehensive knowledge of refrigeration systems.

Requirements:

• At least 3+ years of experience in refrigeration diagnosis and repair
• Technical education in refrigeration trade school or certification preferred
• Must possess 608 certifications in refrigeration recovery
• Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter attitude, able to complete tasks promptly
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, including diagnosing malfunctions
• Proficient problem-solving skills
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in vehicle
• Ability to troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain various refrigeration equipment, including ice makers, fountain machines, coffee machines, heating and cooling equipment, and donut-making equipment

Additional responsibilities include diagnosing problems, dismantling machines, replacing defective parts, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance.

Skills:

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Ability to lift 50 pounds safely
• Ability to stand, lift, and bend for up to 10 hours in cold and wet environments
• Ability to work independently and in team settings
• Experience reading blueprints, layouts, and schematics
• Proficiency with measuring and testing equipment
