About the opportunity

At Mercy Health, you’ll become part of a proud history built on over 100 years of expertise, skill and care. As a Workforce Systems and Support Specialist, you’ll use your skills in workforce and rostering management, to help achieve even more for all who need us.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Experience / Qualifications in business or related discipline- Experience / knowledge of health sector industry classifications and awards- Experience with workforce planning and rostering best practice- Experience with rostering systems (for example RosterOn, Optima), from configuration to end user.- Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to work.- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

About the Role- Provided direct support to the Manager of Workforce Systems and Support, and at times may be required to lead the team in the managers absence.- Responsible for implementation, configuration, monitoring, support and management of rostering system.- Delivers RosterOn training to all aged care homes and hospitals.- Provides BAU guidance in the use of roster tools, to support the Aged Care and Health Services roster framework.- Provide ongoing BAU support for facility based rostering coordinators to ensure ongoing best practice in rostering and timely publishing of working rosters.- Provides RosterOn technical support to all stakeholders, including managers and rostering staff.- Use of computer and software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.- Produce reports as required to ensure rostering best practice and operational efficiency across all Aged Care facilities and Health Services sites.- Supports Workforce Team to deliver project related requirements.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check- Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
