About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to provide level 1 or 2 support to our clients.

  • Strong exposure to Windows 10/11 operating systems is required.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Technical Skills:

  • Install and troubleshoot software on user computers, ensuring smooth operation and resolving issues promptly.
  • Install and troubleshoot Canon printers, ensuring proper setup and connectivity.
  • Perform network patch cabling in Communications Rooms, including connections to patch panels.

Soft Skills:

  • Serve as a liaison between IT and the business, effectively communicating technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Utilize Incident/Request Management systems to manage and resolve support tickets efficiently (Level 2 Support).

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with Incident/Request Management systems for ticket management and closure.
  • Some after-hours and weekend work may be required as directed by the ICT Lead Site Coordinator.
