Energy Sector Opportunity Developer

As a key player in the energy sector, you will develop and execute strategies to drive business growth. Your primary responsibility will be to identify opportunities that align with our company strategy.

Duties
  • Develop strategic plans for increasing revenue in the sector
  • Identify customer experience improvement opportunities
  • Raise major account profiles by providing strategic initiatives and value-added propositions
  • Negotiate preferred supplier agreements and tender submissions
  • Present business proposals to senior clients
  • Meet with key clients to explore market share growth opportunities
  • Propose large account opportunity structures for approval
  • Partner with sales teams to identify areas of growth
  • Manage multi-location client relationships
  • Track account information, customer contacts, and opportunities within our CRM system
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or sales management, with a proven track record of developing strategies and achieving outcomes
  • Strong understanding of the power market, including cost of energy, energy trading, and renewables
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to quickly assimilate complex data and synthesize it into a fact-based decision-making framework
