About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work as a Project Management Intern in AI Data at TikTok, a leading company in Australia.

TikTok's AI Data Service and Eco Operations (ADSEO) team is responsible for ensuring product security and creating a good atmosphere for content creation and community interaction.

As a project intern, you will have the chance to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment.

You will be part of the Safety Operations team, which undertakes international product safety & related model data labelling for business improvement strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting labeling projects: Uphold efficiency and quality by preparing and monitoring key project metrics.
  • Monitoring progress: Skillfully use business platforms and other tools to analyze the progress of the project in time to ensure successful delivery.
  • Providing regular updates: Improve the overall project experience in our business domain.
  • Data analysis: Assist the team to analyze project data to facilitate data-driven decisions.

Requirements

We are looking for:

  • University students: Actively enrolled university students who can commit to the role for at least 3 months and above ideally with a minimum of 4 working days per week.
  • Business knowledge: Ability to quickly understand and grasp business knowledge and model training processes.
  • Communication skills: Strong communication and written skills in English.
  • Project management skills: Good data analysis and project management skills.
  • Coordination skills: Strong coordination, collaborative, and time management skills; able to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural/international and dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

It would be great if you had:

  • Solid interest in social content products: Solid interest in social content products and a knack/eye for social trends.
  • Project management skills: Solid interest in project management and a keen eye for emerging social trends.
