The Claims Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the claims vision, fostering customer excellence through innovation and empowerment.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with senior leaders to oversee the claims portfolio and implement strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of underwriting and claims portfolios across classes of business.
- Proactively manage claims, from initial notification to resolution, ensuring excellent outcomes and accurate reserving.
- Monitor profitability and provide meaningful insights into claims reports and tracking meetings.
- Act as referral point for claims within portfolio and ensure effective escalation processes.
- Lead by example, upholding core values and demonstrating technical expertise.
- Excellent communication skills, acting with honesty, integrity, and fairness.
- Self-motivated and driven, with a positive disposition and willingness to take responsibility.
- Ability to drive change and proactively use initiative.
