Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide coverage and claims strategy advice to clients on complex claims issues.
  2. Identify policies and coverage's for less complex coverage issues and analyze notifications against the same to provide solutions to clients.
  3. Facilitate claims processes for clients, with supervision, to ensure progress from notification through to closure.
  4. Monitor insurer responses and engage with insurers and their professional advisers on less complex issues to support smooth claim reviews.
  5. Draft communication documents for clients, such as correspondence letters, claims calculations, and review documents prepared by clients.
  6. Provide claims-related data, including loss statistics, key trends, cost reduction opportunities, and other relevant information to assist in developing action plans to manage clients' total cost of risk.
Requirements
  • High-level experience across construction insurance policies and claims, including contract works, industrial special risk, and liability claims.
  • Good level of experience in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction claims.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to act proactively to drive relationships and manage multiple stakeholders with a clear customer focus.
  • Maturity and strength of character to discuss complex issues with senior leaders and conduct meetings with confidence.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
