Independent Living Support Workers

Casual disability support workers are sought after to work with individuals with disabilities, empowering their independence and enhancing their quality of life.
The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate III or IV in disability support (or related field) and at least 6 months of disability support experience. They should demonstrate strong communication skills, be able to build rapport with clients and families, and show problem-solving and time management abilities.
As a disability support worker, you will provide person-centred support in daily activities, assist with personal care, support skill development, facilitate community participation, and ensure safety and wellbeing according to NDIS guidelines.
You will work closely with clients to enhance their quality of life, foster social inclusion, and help them achieve their personal aspirations.
The role requires a driver's licence, reliable comprehensively insured vehicle, current first aid and CPR certificates, valid NDIS worker check, WWCC, national police certificate, completed NDIS induction module, smartphone, ability to obtain manual handling and infection control training, and immunisation record.
