Flight Operations Coordinator Job Description
The role of Flight Operations Coordinator is a vital part of our airline's customer service team. The position requires the ability to provide exceptional support to both internal and external customers, responding to flight inquiries and managing Sabre schedule queues.
Main Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer flight inquiries, including date changes, schedule changes, name corrections, refunds, cancellations, and airline credits in a timely manner.
- Meet quality and productivity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by management in line with business objectives.
- Process refunds through Sabre and third-party suppliers efficiently.
- Issue and reissue electronic tickets via Sabre and consolidators as needed.
- Manage Sabre schedule queues and action schedule changes promptly.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience by delivering on-time assistance and resolving issues quickly.
- Escalate complex customer complaints and issues to the appropriate department for timely resolution.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to excel in a high-volume call center environment with strong communication skills.
- Strong technical skills in using Sabre, including advanced reservations and ticketing.
- Ability to process complex flight transactions efficiently.
- Background in travel agency or airline customer service and ticketing is highly desirable.
- Experience with Genesys and Zendesk is a plus.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
- Self-motivated individual who can adapt quickly to new technology and processes.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
