About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and caring individual to join our team as a Food Service Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is passionate about providing exceptional service to our residents.

As a Food Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our residents receive high-quality meals and exceptional care. You will work closely with our Head Chef and the Hotel Services team to prepare and serve meals, maintain clean and welcoming dining areas, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the cook and chef manager in preparing nutritious meals that cater to the dietary needs of our residents.
  • Engage with residents to create a warm and inviting dining environment that enhances their overall experience.
  • Clean kitchen and dining room areas, including all related equipment, to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Work effectively with fellow team members to coordinate meal service and maintain a smooth operation.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in hospitality or kitchen environments.
  • A genuine sense of care and compassion, especially during mealtimes.
  • Ability to problem solve, work with limited supervision, and 'think on your feet.'
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A hardworking and flexible attitude with good availability.
