Acquisition of Digital and Physical Collections: A Key Initiative

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading a team to deliver high-quality services for acquiring and activating the library's digital and physical collections.

Our ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and execute projects efficiently. The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with various stakeholders, including portfolio, university, and internal and external client groups, to ensure the library's collection acquisitions align with the university's research and education priorities.
  • Providing specialist professional services to deliver an active user-driven collection that meets the needs of the academic community.
  • Collaborating with the Content and Collections Manager to develop and implement strategies for optimizing content and collection acquisition via streamlined workflows and innovative acquisition models.
