About Us
This is a pivotal role where you will lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services to acquire and activate the library's digital and physical collections in line with the research, teaching, and learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist professional services to deliver an active user-driven collection.
- Liaise between portfolio, university and internal and external client groups.
- Work closely with internal partners such as academic and divisional staff to ensure the library's collection acquisitions are aligned with the University's research and education priorities.
- Initiate, plan and deliver projects to optimise content and collection acquisition via streamlined and sustainable workflows and innovative acquisition models.
- Support the Content and Collections Manager, to deliver the library's program of activities as well as provide specialist advice that contributes to the advancement of the library's objectives.
Your Skills and Qualifications
You will be a highly developed professional with strong planning and organisational skills, who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
